I've been having problems logging into my blog for a while now. Thats why i have not updated. You guyz should have more patience with me. The end of that story is coming soon, but not now. And Wienna don't let me vex ok??? Make sure you come back for the update & you should open your own blog:)
May the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre Rest In peace (Amen), & may God grant their families the fortitude to bear their losses. As for the Guy that did this (Cho Suing-Hui or whatever his name is..) i pray that he burns in HELL! He killed himself after killing the students & professors. He has escaped justice from this earth but God (the ultimate Judge) is waiting to give him his punishment. I actually read in a newspaper that he came back to check if there were people who were alive so as to finish them off. Can you imagine? Satan really uses people to try & create havoc. The world is coming to an end. We should make Hay while the sun shines. Peace!

this whole v tech thing is sad...but i have not heard of anybody trying to challenge the gunman..none of the guys even attempted to rush at him..i mean when the professor barricaded the door with his body..the students in that class could have laid ambush on him...i guess it is easy 4 me to say sa cos i have never had a gunman charging at me with 2 guns..R.I.P lost souls

I was taught by wise people that history is the greatest educator. Also, some of the most eloquent educational tools in the historical sense have been the ‘inversions of history’ type, eg ‘Barbequarea’ a film where a fleet of aboriginal ships invades an isolated and naive ‘white’ Australia and where mounted aboriginal police bash and arrest whites defiantly marching down George St on Anzac Day. Another film of the genre portrayed black Africans on safari in Austria, with Austrians carrying the equipment, and then archiving the strange customs of the native Austrians ie leiderhosen boot dancing and the rapid consumption of a drink known as ‘lager’ under temporary canvas tents and a full moon. Weird. The relevance here is that, in an inversion of the Western missionary cargo cult strategy of air-dropping bibles into naive native villages in the South Pacific, we need a wealthy and well-meaning athiest (or socialist) to sponsor the air-dropping of millions of copies of Richard Dawkins academic and excellent book “The God Delusion” into that backwater of superstition and religious ignorance called the United States of America. Put me down for a hundred buck donation. Tax deductible I hope.

Hello,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I have posted a response.
I hope that CHO ( the VA Tech shooter) finds the peace that so very much eluded him during his existence that he had to make such a violent exit. I know this response is not in line with yours but I believe God to be love and that he knows all his children and their actions before they are formed. He knows how he will deal with that troubled soul and how he will bring comfort to the families ruined by his actions as well as continuity for the souls who have departed.
@ VEST: what are you talking about? Maybe I have to read this entire blog to catch your drift and if it has nothing to do with anything on this blog, then...dang!!!

well.. i dont think he should burn in hell.reason being that .. he was sick. Sometimes people underestimate mental illness and the effect it may have on an individuals life. THe whole event is a tragedy. But it raises some important questions. such as how should universities deal with mental illness. to what extent should the government intervene in mental cases. Theres this song called. "how to save a life" by the fray. the lyrics are so poignant and so relevant to this event. As much as the killer has victimised a whole of lot of people and robbed people of thier lives. LEts not forget that he was also a victim.

nice post by the way

lol...chidi, as i've said a few times to others, i can't have my own blog, i prefer to just read others and give comments. I give kudos to u guys and always look forward to your updates.
I agree with ijeoma....it's a human instinct to lash out at such atrocious and act. And remember d mental disorders in diaspora here is different back home. In our country, people usually associate such disorders as spiritually-connected. But not here in diaspora. I also read dat d boy was autistic, i think his parents too had a blame on dis, cos they should've found some help for him since he's a child. Usually autistic children usually possess great skills/talents and with d right treatment and therapy, they usually get over it. Only God knows why such event had to occur.

@ IOI & wienna- ok fine he was mental. we understand that. but i still think the devil used him in a way. Him being mental dosen't mean killing people. i know there have been cases of people who are of their knockers killing otherr people but i'm sorry i dnt think its an excuse. i dnt think the families of the dead person cares if he was mental or not.

The comment was a bit of spoof on anti creationism, probably did not gel with this comment thread, it was a mass mail out, but I am pleased it arrived here ok. My comment on your more recent post should meet with your approval.
Have a lovely day.
